Description
Open Content Syndication Framework:
A Robust content management and distrobution framework based on highly configurable modules built in a standard MVC Design Pattern.
Reasoning:
(Almost) All content management systems (CMS) have one major down fall, they tailor only to a specific set of input/output streams [web forms => database / database => html]. OpenCSF wishes to break these chains and create a framework of swappable modules so your content can come from ANY location, [through any method: like an SMS/email/form/webservice] be stored, [flatfile/simple_db/RDMS] then presented in the format requested. [raw XML, web service, xHTML, WML, etc.]
Method:
This system will use a set of PHP classes, utilizing the abstraction of XML and xSLT for presentation. All PHP will fully utilize the new Zend 2 Engine.
The system will also be able to utilize the power of the subversion version control system when utilizing flat-file storage.
Please see the Documents & Files Section for more.
